Great beans may make the best-tasting coffee but it’s the people
behind the counter at the Starbucks in Huntsman Square
Shopping Center in Springfield that make the experience a big brew-haha.
The staff of baristas’ friendliness and attention to every detail,
in combination with the steaming hot beverage of your choice, has a
long-lasting effect which elevates your mood in the process.
The entire staff of perky baristas, including Jennifer, Michael, Peter
and Kevin, not only have a way of rousing you out of your early morning
or mid-afternoon grogginess but have attracted something of a loyal
following. That’s why residents of the surrounding neighborhoods
patronize their local coffee shop religiously. Just ask their favorite
frequent customer Farah Movasat who goes there every day and to get
her staple, an expresso coffee. “They make the coffee the
way I want it. Half a shot of expresso, extra hot with mocha.”
Movasat says that even when the shop is at its busiest, typically mornings
and around lunch time, they are all smiling. It’s not surprising
with this level of attention that the staff recognizes the names of
the “regulars.” But what does surprise most customers is
how they have your beverage ready and waiting almost before you enter
their establishment. “I open the door and they have it waiting
for me. They make my day!” says their most enthusiastic patron.
For many, it’s a place to congregate with friends, catch up
on the morning paper and indulge on some delicious baked goods topped
off with a great cup of Starbuck’s famous coffee. All that for
the price of (coffee) beans.
